91制片厂 held its inaugural Young听Women of Excellence, Circle of Success听meeting on Thursday.
Established by Dr. Jacqueline B. Hill, Executive Vice President and Provost, the goal of this newly formed organization is to听create a platform where students can actively engage with mentors, university leadership, develop actionable skills, and contribute to meaningful initiatives that enhance their academic and professional journeys by fostering a safe space for growth.
Sixteen young women of varying undergraduate majors and a selected group of mentors听gathered in the Genesis Lab in the Lehman Building to learn more about what is required to be a young woman of excellence.
Respectfully and affectionally called the听“Sweet 16,” each young woman agreed to commit to that excellence, and to community service on and off campus.
The young women were all recognized during a special pinning ceremony.
Each received the organization’s official logo, a yellow rose, a special gift, and an array of sweet delicacies.
Dr. Hill will facilitate meaningful engagement between students and leadership through six structured meetings.
The Advisory Mentor Board will support impactful sub-events to promote leadership, community service, and networking opportunities.
